At the PLASA Show, Avolites has announced that its newly formed Avolites Media division has formed a strategic alliance with Immersive Ltd., which gives Avolites ownership of the intellectual property rights of the Addict show control system.
Avolites Media is now sole manufacturer of a suite of products under the brand name Ai.

The Entertainment Industry Safety Initiative is a safety awareness program initiated by PLASA with participants from a wide variety of entities including trade and professional associations, employers, venues, and labor unions. The purpose of this initiative is to work in concert to identify, create and deliver resources aimed at improving safety in the various segments of the entertainment industry.
LDI 2011 is right around the corner and Creative is now offering exhibit hall passes to readers of our blog.

This spring, the school staged The Three Musketeers, and while it wasn’t the first production to go entirely incandescent-free, it was among the first to compare the energy savings of conventional and LED lit theatrical productions in such detail.
